A combination of specially designed equipments like 1600MT press brake machine, multiple rolls bending machine, welding installations for outside, inside and circumferential welding, size calibrating press, solution annealing furnace and a host of other related machinery, is employed to manufacture pipes used in critical applications like refineries, fertilizers, LNG terminals, cross country pipe lines etc.

Rajasthan Metals hexagon and square bars are manufactured in state of art facilities with utmost precision and care that starts with the alloying process, extrusion, heat treatment, annealing to the final surface finishing. RIS bars are easier to machine and process.

Mother tubes or hollows are procured from reputed manufacturers in India and abroad, and are subjected to a thorough chemical analysis with rigorous physical and mechanical tests.

The best quality mother tubes are then cold-rolled on pilger machines and/or cold-drawn on draw benches with precise pull forces, achieving the desired dimensions and a smooth finish. Tubes are then solution annealed, straightened, pickled, passivated before they are inspected, tested and released for dispatch. Polishing is also done wherever required by a customer.

• Mirror finish (no. 8) sheets are available in both 304 and 316 stainless steels. This effect is produced on BA (bright annealed) 304 grade and 2B finished steel on 316 grade.


• Thicknesses available in 304 stainless steel range from 0.8 - 3.0 mm. Width is up to 1524 mm and length up to a maximum of 8.0 m. Stock thicknesses are 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 2.0 and 3.0 mm.


• Most common sheet sizes available are: 2438 x 1219 mm, 3048 x 1219 mm and 3658 x 1219 mm.


• Mirror finish sheets in 316 stainless steel are available in thicknesses of 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 2.0 and 3.0 mm. Sheet size is 2438 x 1219 mm.


• Typical applications for 304 grade mirror finish stainless steel includes elevator, escalator, interior cladding, building facades, trim work, as well as signage and so on.


• 316 grade applications cover marine, building facades, water features and swimming pool areas.
